The SNOWPROX S942 offers improved vertical and horizontal edge effects through use of an asymmetric design. This enables the SNOWPROX S942 to achieve even better snow performance and stability on snow. The two straight grooves on the outside of the tires add the benefit of the edge effect to traction on the outside of the tire when cornering on snow, preventing sideslip for stable cornering. Meanwhile the zigzag grooves arranged on the inside of the tires apply the edge effect to traction in the direction of travel on snow, gripping the snowy surface securely for stable driving. Crossover Dimples The SNOWPROX S942 also uses Crossover Dimples which ensure a stable edge effect for reliable tire performance, from the moment that the tires are purchased. Round Contact Patches Giving the point of contact with the road surface a round shape helps the tire to push the water aside to the left and right to increase water removal. By improving road holding performance, this ensures unparalleled handling on wet road surfaces.
