Toyo Tires on Display at the Bologna Motor Show 2006（4, December, 2006）

Toyo Tire Italia S.p.A. (President: Marco Cecconi; Head Office: Collesalvetti, Italy) is pleased to announce that it will have an exhibit at the Bologna Motor Show 2006, which will be held in Bologna, Italy for 11 days from Thursday, December 7th through Sunday, December 17th. Toyo Tire Italia S.p.A. is a tire sales subsidiary of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yoshio Kataoka).

The Bologna Motor Show is one of the major international motor shows along with the Tokyo Motor Show and the Frankfurt Motor Show, and this year will be the 31st show. More than 440 automotive-related companies from about 20 countries worldwide are planning to have exhibits, and over 1.2 million visitors are expected.

At our exhibition booth, we’re going to show off the special features of our tires by displaying four customized cars in collaboration with a prominent Italian tuner, including a replica car from the movie “The Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift.” The cars will be sporting our flagship tire, PROXES T1R.
Our exhibit will also include a semi-racing tire, PROXES R888, and a large-diameter tire for SUVs, PROXES S/T, and other large-diameter tires from our line.

We’re also going to hold an event titled “The Fast and Furious Toyo Drift” at the open-air site in order to enhance the image of Toyo Tire Brand, especially among young people.

We hope to further enhance our brand positioning in Italy through this exhibition.
