Toyo Tires on Display at the Essen Motor Show 2006（4, December, 2006）

Toyo　Tire　Europe　GmbH (President: Takeo Suzuki; Head Office: Neuss, Germany) is pleased to announce that it will have an exhibit at the Essen Motor Show 2006, which will be held in Essen, Germany for 10 days from Friday, December 1st to Sunday, December 10th. Toyo　Tire　Europe　GmbH is a tire sales subsidiary of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yoshio Kataoka).

The Essen Motor Show is one of the world’s largest car tuning shows, and this year will be the 39th show. More than 570 automotive-related companies from around the world are planning to have exhibits, and over 400,000 visitors are expected.

At our exhibition booth, we’re going to show off our high quality and high performance tires by exhibiting four customized cars including a car by our technical partner, Breyton. The cars will be sporting our flagship tire, PROXES T1R.
We’re also going to exhibit Heico Sportiv’s racing car sporting our slick tire “PROXES RS1”. The car finished first in its class at the Nurburgring 24-Hour Race this year.

We hope to further enhance the image of the Toyo Tire brand in Germany through this exhibition.
