Toyo Tire Benelux Sponsors the Second edition 24h car race of Dubai

Toyo Tire Benelux B.V. (President: G.v. Beusekom), the tire sales subsidiary in the Netherlands of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yoshio Kataoka), will again be the main sponsor, as it was last year at the inaugural race, of the Second edition Toyo Tires 24h car race of Dubai, to be held from January 11 (Thursday) to January 13 (Saturday), 2007, at the Dubai Autodrome circuit in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Although this only marks the second year of Toyo Tires 24h car race of Dubai, it is a truly competitive and international race with over 80 cars participating from Europe, as well as other countries, including Japan and Australia.

This race is also characterized by the wide-range of vehicle classes that are set to participate, from touring cars in the 2,000cc class to fully-fledged endurance cars. In addition, cars will not be limited to those running on gasoline; there will also be a class for diesel cars, which are attracting attention in Europe as eco-cars.

The competing teams, some of which will be outfitted with our PROXES RS1 slick tire or PROXES R888 semi-racing tire, will compete for class and overall wins.

By acting as the main sponsor in these motor racing activities, we hope to raise our brand awareness and contribute to the growth of motorsports.
